Pupil Parliament
School Parliament
School Parliament meetings are held once a fortnight. There is an elected representative from each class, plus a secretary, treasurer and council chair. We have an agenda and often the points on it are discussed in class before the meeting so the class representatives bring the views of their peers to the meeting.
This year, the School Parliament have started with a playground and Play Leader project where they will interview and recruit children to be Play Leaders for lunchtimes games, clubs and sports. They are also creating presentations to bid for funding from the school PTA (Friends of St Andrew's) for new playtime equipment.
Everyone who is on the School Parliament is able to gather the views of their class and share them with Mrs Wilkowski, who then talks to staff to help improvements to be made.
