Ofsted & Siams Reports
Ofsted
Our most recent Ofsted inspection was undertaken in February 2025. We were found to have taken effective action to maintain the standards identified at our previous inspection when we were judged to be good for overall effectiveness. You can find a copy of the report at the bottom of this page. Key highlights from the report are as follows;
“This is a warm and friendly school at the heart of the local community. The school has high ambition for all pupils. Pupils, including disadvantaged pupils, achieve well. Pupils are happy and well cared for by a team of dedicated staff.”
“The school’s ambition for every pupil to live ‘life in all its fullness’ is typified through the joy pupils show in their learning and the many enrichment opportunities on offer. The curriculum is ambitious and interesting for pupils”.
“Pupils behave well. Adults support pupils’ behaviour with consistency and kindness. Pupils actively participate in their lessons and put great effort into what they do”.
Parents and carers appreciate the school. As one parent wrote, summing up the views of many, ‘St Andrew's has great teachers, an inclusive environment and my child is thriving.”

SIAMS
We underwent our most recent SIAMS inspection in May 2022 and we were pleased to be awarded the judgement that remain being a 'Good' a school. The Inspection made the following observations;
"Pupils and adults flourish at St Andrew’s because the entire school community is ‘relentlessly bothered’ about living out the clear and distinctive Christian vision of the school"
"The school has a clear vision for the flourishing of all which is underpinned by John 10:10. This is lived out by every member of the school community and all staff and pupils know they are cherished"
